Well the Speccy Robocop was being developed at the same at the same time as the Arcade version. Not sure if the home versions had any influence on the arcade version though.

Dizzy 7: Crystal Kingdo Dizzy was bad compared to previous parts. Renegade 3 is very bad. Dragon Breed: R-type 2 is bad. yeah Bombjack on the speccy is great but the arcade just about wins out.
Renegade cacks all over the arcade version from a great height.
