    I thought all of the 48K ROM routines were accessible from 128 basic?

    Only difference being SPECTRUM and PLAY replacing 'T' and 'U' in the UDG set.

    I'm looking for a way to do the reverse i.e. 48K basic to 128K.

    Thanks Thricenightly. Does Z88DK use the ROM routines for PLOT and DRAW? If so, then it may be down to my assembler - I am sure it can be optimised. For example, you add 2 rather than subtract - would that be quicker?

    It does not, it has its own machine code libraries. So in that sense it's not really a fair comparison.

    Well done Ivan. Yes it is just calling ROM routines but I feel a lot can be learnt from this plus having these sort of routines is also useful to speed up parts of BASIC where needed.
