Received both speccy and membrane today!
However Im not too clear whats the best way to remove the old membrane from the motherboard. Do you just pull on the ribbon, or try to get the black plastic plugs detached from the motherboard? -

just pull the plastic tails out from the socket - gently as they can sometimes leave small pieces of membrane inside the sockets.
Do not remove the black plastic plugs :-) -

ok got one membrane replaced! Ive managed to tune the tv to channel 36 but the picture isnt too good even with fine tuning. -
Problem with my speccy 48+My machine boots up but apon booting it freezes and you can see feint grey horizontal 1 pixel lines going down the screen. Is this fixable at all?
