Come to think of it, is the scart plug (Spectrum end) a sealed unit?
If not then can you prise it open to see if a wire has come away?
And why not take the scart plug (TV end) apart to see if the same has happened.

It seems some TVs can't display the signal generated by the Plus 3, even if you're using a scart connector. Your TV has to support RGB. -

Unfortunately this didn't work either, maybe my tvs don't support RGB, i don't know, they are not old tvs or anything.
My 128 heasink RGB-Scart cable works fine on these tvs though.... :( -
