I sometimes got my games from a shop called PEAK Computers, which was a small independent, that used to stock games for all the 8-bit's. Incredibly, its still open now, though (apparently) only concentrates on PC stuff.... -

Well, I lived in a small town here in Portugal, near Lisboa. I had an electronics shop near my house, where they sold copies of Spectrum games ;)
I used to ran home as fast as I could after purchasing the latest games :) -

If you exclude the majors, like WHSmith and Boots, our local computer shop didn't sell Spectrums :(
It sold some software for them, but it used to sell BBCs and Tatung Einsteins.

Great wee shop used from spectrum through to playstation.Was a family run store for many years but got sold and sadly didnt last more than a few years more after it appears. :( -
