  • Commode 64 InventorI was just thinking (I do that every so often). Has the inventor of the C64 (cleans mouth) got as much of a cult following as Sir Clive The Great?

I'm sure on the C64 forums they love the creator of the C64 and he probably has a cult following, same with even Sugar and Amstrad on their forums.

I do like Sir Clive for being a classic british inventor though

Of course Sir Clive didnt 'invent' the Spectrum himself, one of his cronies or a design team. Didn't they/he go on to create the Jupiter Ace after leaving Sinclair?

Well, I'm glad Sir Clive did whatever he did. Until he decided on creating a three wheeled un-sellable deathtrap and quite rightly lost his business because of it.

    Some things are just unforgivable.
