I'm sure on the C64 forums they love the creator of the C64 and he probably has a cult following, same with even Sugar and Amstrad on their forums.
I do like Sir Clive for being a classic british inventor though -

Of course Sir Clive didnt 'invent' the Spectrum himself, one of his cronies or a design team. Didn't they/he go on to create the Jupiter Ace after leaving Sinclair? -

Well, I'm glad Sir Clive did whatever he did. Until he decided on creating a three wheeled un-sellable deathtrap and quite rightly lost his business because of it.
