Cables are horrible to solder, in my experience. I have no trouble doing a neat job soldering a PCB, but soldering a small fiddly cable (without about five of those 'Helping Hands' devices) is just a nightmare. -

Unfortunately this didn't work either, maybe my tvs don't support RGB, i don't know, they are not old tvs or anything.
