    Just reading through the JSW collision detection info... I have never thought that the order in which objects are drawn on screen would be so important in a platformer. Is this due to technical reasons at the time or does this method still hold true today?

    Very nice indeed. I like the scrolling between screens, and the music is great. The collision detection definitely needs improving, and the missing moves and weapons should be added. Keep up the good work.
