SpecEmu is showing the 4 bright levels ok, but in the wrong order I think.
This looks a bit wrong.

FrankT: try [URL="http://homepage.ntlworld.com/e.tinney/SpecEmu-2.8.b111108.zip"]this one[/URL]. All the palettes work again but there's a few differences in intensities. And the custom palette doesn't have the four brightness levels :) -
