    SPIN and the free shareware version of Spectaculator (5.2) are the emulators I use. I still have zx32 on my hard drive but haven't used it for many months now. I use Emuzwin for any 256 colour or GS games.

    The latest Spin already includes the option to set the palette exactly how you like it. Brightness, contrast, grey-scale or just set the RGB values for each colour individually.
