8 means the poke is for 48k machines, 0-7 should be the page number for 128k games.
I need to read Martijn's specs again to be sure, but I expect Spectaculator will only open 128k .pok files in Spectrum 128 mode.

Why mistake? Kempstorn Interface is working, I used it too. Any Joystick interface can be pluged into the Spectrum 128+ as long as it is for the Spectrum range, only some free programable joystick interfaces are problematic.
