Seriously, there is one Spectrum 48K quirk I'd to see emulated; dot-crawl. Knightlore on an emulator (or a 128K Spectrum, which doesn't have dot-crawl) doesn't seem the same, somehow.

on plain spectrum 48k, right after resetting PRINT PEEK 65530 will return 66, as it is the 3rd byte in the bitmap of the 'U' UDG character.
i suspect he wanted to write PRINT PEEK 65535, which returns 0. -
