Video Pool (1985) was good despite it's stupid control method, and it had one of the best opening title sequences of any Spectrum game. I have to mention Micromega. Up till "A Day In The Life", they produced classic after classic. "Codename MATT", "Full Throttle", "Braxx Bluff" and of course "Deathchase", maybe the best Spectrum game ever.
