All Spectrum emulators contain the Spectrum ROM (its operating system) which also contains the Sinclair Basic editor/interpreter. When you read that you can now use Basic on Spectaculator on the iPod, it means you can enter your own programs, nothing else. -

Even if you can include the emulator, you wouldn't be able to include the original ROM. You would have to use the OpenSE ROM instead.
