I've never played the arcade version (nor any other version) but I have the feeling it's far better than the Spectrum version.

I liked the Spectrum version, though it was bloody hard. C64 version was faster and smoother, but the chunky graphics let it down. Overall the C64 version is probably better, but the Spectrum version is good enough to stand on its own two feet.
