Well, at a rough guess I'd say its your PC speed. ZX Spin runs fine on my 1.4Ghz AMD, and the loading sounds are great! -

Don't look like it! It's been years since an update. Anyway, forget ZX32 and use SPIN instead. It is a FAR better emulator and being updated all the time.

The insert tape dialog box has 'Open as read only'.
The unreadable text isn't going to put me off of Spin. I've just finished Gremlins on it. ZX32 was able to take faster typing when the speed is up.
