    Well the 25fps certainly looks better but it would be easier to compare if the 17fps one was running at the same speed (ie the sprite pattern movements increased in pixel size to match the speed of the 25fps game)

    Thanks but that's not it. What I just recalled now was that the character sprite was white, had a big, triangular nose and very short legs. It had to do with some guy trapped in his dreams, I think, and had to avoid spiders & pits.
