    This is really quite obvious stuff - arrays are just items stored linearly in memory. In assembler you just access any memory you decide is an array like an array.

    too obvious I suppose. BTW, the speccy has index registers too, which would appear to be perfect to access arrays in memory. Are there any performance hits in using them though?
