    The +3s has nothing to do with the trick I described. It works because the picture is interlaced. You will see half of the picture from ram bank 5 and half from ram bank 7.

    I once saw a program where someone recalculated a binary string from INPUT to a decimal number since BIN A$ didn't work.
    Just use VAL ("BIN " + A$") next time.
