Yes, Art Studio, Deluxe Paint or similar Spectrum art packages are excellent, I used them a few years ago. Now I use BMP2SCR paint module, but it will not work on your machine because of too low specs. -

I've always used R80. Its screenshot utility lets you save in both PCX or SCR formats (I used to capture gfx to retouch them in Deluxe Paint, so PCX was the format I needed).
