Do what I did, get one of each :)
I tend to use my +2A most, as it's easy to set up, and takes up less space, due to having it's own tape deck. I only use it to play games though. -

well there was a few.. you know how you have the c64.. and the tape deck is custom built.. you'd use it to back up the tapes ;) as you couldn't use tape-tape to do it.
it just doubles the tape deck port so you can plug 2 units into it.
