Aye, Tau Ceti is a corking game. The jump pads are as described - a tall thin pole on one side, and a squat little base on the other. You fly between them, and continuely tap 'J' as you do so.

Well you can save your game in Tau Ceti which makes it relatively easy (if time consuming) for a Spectrum game.
Much more impressed by whoever it was who said they managed to complete JSW II.
