    Get PlayTZX and use it to play a TZX file - if you don't have a real Speccy, using PlayTZX will be the fastest way to do it. Just capture the output of your sound card.

    It would... I suspect the purpose is to be able to write chip tunes using a MIDI keyboard as the user interface (which, I suspect, would be fastest/easiest for most people who want to write chip tunes)
