    The TC2068 Spectrum Rom Cartridge use an TC2048 ROM chip. (because 2048 use the same ULA chip then 2068, some minor ROM code change)

    I have one TC2048 and one Timex FDD3000. The TC2048 is not 100% compatible. There are differences in the way it reads ports, keyboard, etc. Some of the games are totally incompatible.

    I've got one TC2048 (made in Portugal) and all my Spectrum games works. In very (very) rare cases, the Kempton joystick port doesn't respond.
