    10,000 C64 titles sounds about right for a conservative estimate, i've seen CD compilations claiming that many and have one myself with 7,700 titles which stopped before the end of the C64's commercial life span and missed out a lot of stuff.

    ... I always though that although the C64 boasted of more colours than ... always seemed pretty muddy and the pixels so large as ... stoopid speccy is better than c64 or the other way around argument ... using a C64 emulator though. Overall I always prefered the Speccy.
