Well, applying the patch didn't change anything for me. The program behaves the same as before; the window doesn't move, but with aspect-hint set to 0, it does. -

I've just done everything on my Ubuntu 6.10 machine. The patch didn't help here. The same as in the 6.06 machine.
The audio is now fixed!!. The --without-libao worked for me. The sound no longer lags.
