yeah i have seen bits and bobs about the type ins project, but ive not encountered it or the type ins as yet......address? how do you have to offer type ins? as files? or as text file? or both?

I can confirm that SPIN 0.5 has no Large Font issues - we left those behind with 0.41 and now the only issues lie with the type of person that would enable Large Fonts to start with...

Windows probably things your emulator is somewhere it isn't. Go to Tools/FolderOptions/File Types and check the type for your TZX files.
