So the question for games not running properly is not that the CPU contention timing is different, but that contention is applied differently to memory banks on the toastrack/+2 and the +2a/b/3.

Are you using anything else plugged into the edge connector at the same time, such as a DivIDE? If not, it should work OK. I have a few, they all work on my 48K versions, but not on my +3, but maybe they would on a 128K toastrack. -
