    I swapped the Z80 in my toastrack to get my Divide to work and was surprised to find the one I removed worked fine in a 48K. It must have been one of the weaker ones.

    The composite output on the toastrack is filtered by the band stop filter L5 to remove the sound subcarrier so it shouldn't be a problem as on the later models.

    If sound carrier is present on the video then L5 probably just needs tweaking...

    I guess the expression "They dont build them like they used to" holds true in this case. I really wish I could put my paws on a toastrack. But they seem a bit rare.

    128 crashing often relates to the HAL hardware bugs in the toastrack 128 and the early model grey +2. Try it on a +3/+2A or +2B.
