    Soz. I mean to say that IN doesn't work f'me. Works fine on my Speccy assemblers, but not on Tommygun.

    or you could just use TommyGun, which comes with great syntax highlighting support for ASM files. Even, SPIN's editor will do syntax highlighting for that matter.

    I use Tommygun, but have written a tool in C#.NET to read the XML file created by Tommygun and output the tiles as DEFB statements.

    I can post the source code if useful to anyone

    Sadly Retro-X Map editor is not fully finished yet. Some of the map editor functions are working, but I think, it is on a good way... It allows scrolly 2D tile maps, but it will also allow screen switch method like in TommyGun.

    AFAIK the MSX mode will be reintroduced later. TommyGun is a big project and Kiwi will concentrate to finish unfinished parts off before he restart the MSX 1 modes. Btw: What kind of support do you need? Maybe Retro-X will help?

    Those are both great ideas and if I get back into working on TommyGun I will look into adding those for sure.
    They definitely be easier to add than a beeper editor or ay editor.
