    or you could just use TommyGun, which comes with great syntax highlighting support for ASM files. Even, SPIN's editor will do syntax highlighting for that matter.

    Hi,

    I use Tommygun, but have written a tool in C#.NET to read the XML file created by Tommygun and output the tiles as DEFB statements.

    I can post the source code if useful to anyone

    Sadly Retro-X Map editor is not fully finished yet. Some of the map editor functions are working, but I think, it is on a good way... It allows scrolly 2D tile maps, but it will also allow screen switch method like in TommyGun.

    Those are both great ideas and if I get back into working on TommyGun I will look into adding those for sure.
    They definitely be easier to add than a beeper editor or ay editor.
