Options -> Images -> Turn off the Byteloader. You can leave edge loading on, but the byteloader doesn't support Rainbow Islands as yet, we've not added it.
Hopefully it'll be in for the next official release.

It's not the byte loader per se with those two - you need to turn off the autostart/stop for these.

It loads to the first part OK, then it loads the main game, but it doesn't start when I use Flash loading, it just keeps trying to load the next part. Not sure wot you mean, but when you use RealSpec to load the TRDOS game there should be an option to turn off the read-only protection. Disable and run.
