out of interest, why would you want to convert mp3 to wav? you will just end up with the exact same sound quality but with a much larger file size surely? -

I use `Format Factory`,not just mp3 to wav but many other audio formats.

There is an OSX port for playtzx. Big chance it will work without problems, so you might want to check that out as well. Advantage: no more converting to .wav needed.
