Still, it *might* be that there's a power failure someplace... who knows, perhaps CPU, ULA, ROM and RAM are ok.
I suggest you don't dispose of it in ANY case, since it might come in handy for spares! -

I thought only the multiface 3 was made for the +2A/+3. I have a Protek switched interface for kempston/cursor/sinclair that works plugged straight on. cursor and sinclair cannot work since the ula overrides.

You could break your Inves Spectrum + poking somewhere a certain value. It killed the ULA. I'll do some research and post here the evil POKE :)
