    I'd agree that some of then best scrolling I've ever seen is on H.A.T.E. and Highway Encounter. I've always thought that.

    Also, Operation Wolf is a game with good scrolling which probably doesn't spring immediately to mind for most people.

    I meant that past level 2.2 the levels had the best (and most complex) parallax scrolling I have seen on the Speccy...the vertical-jetpack levels in particular.

    I particularly liked Critical Mass as the ship had good inertia and the landscape scrolled smoothly below, also Fatworm blows a sparky due to the towering scenery (very good 3d/scrolling effect.

    Defender by what company? Its only a sprite based game that appears to scroll. The land can be updated without pixel scrolling.
