Its working now but it won't work with my internal card reader , i have to use a plug in usb reader for some reason ?

No. Other than going around to theirs and stealing it back.
USB memory sticks are by and large dumb devices with a bit of NAND flash and minimal firmware to interface them to USB. They can't be programmed to do anything fancy. -
