I have a Logitech K270, from the MK270 wireless keyboard+mouse combo, which connects to the computer using a USB receiver.
Only the Q+E+T combination fails, all others work OK.

You can get USB joystick encoder circuits off eBay far cheaper than the keyboard encoders that the sellers of arcade parts would sell you. In MAME you can configure extra joystick buttons to controls just as easily as you can keyboard keys. -
