Blimey, I'd forgotten about LOAD *"b"! I used to use that quite a lot with Gerton Lunter's Z80 emulator. If I'd typed up a program separately, I'd use CONVERT to create a TXT->SAV file and use LOAD *"b" in Z80 to load the SAV file as a BASIC listing. -

I've been using minidisc to load games into the Spectrum for ten years, and it works. It's really dependant on the source, not the minidisc compression. I've got a Speedlock version of Ping Pong to load off MD no problem, for example. -
