I've never really liked ZX32, and I specially hated the autopause feature whenever it loose the focus. I've always prefered X128 and R80. -

no not really, though it does act strange sometimes. seriously, for tr-dos stuff id stick with x128, or with z80 stealth or unreal spectrum if you plan to do any work on it or simply want things to work more correctly. -
