Providing you have one of the limited number of machines supported by it, you'd be better off converting to Z80 snapshot format. That will work for any TZX except multi-loaders. -

Only for hacking the contents of the file if you have a preference for the SZX file format. SZX to Z80 is impossible for all but a small number of machine states.
