    Never played it but Final FIght had sprites about half the size of the screen - getting those into a Spectrum must have been quite an acheivement.

    As an additional note to my earlier post, Operation Wolf was a corking Coin-op conversion if ever I've seen one. I had it with the light phaser (Bullseye on the B side) and it was an excellent game. Large and plentiful sprites to boot, as well.

    I confirm that demo would run on RealSpectrum. However, I could never find Mortal Kombat; from the screenshots I saw the sprites looked HUGE, I'd be curious to see it... anyone?

    Fastest way is to store sprites pre-scrolled and bang em on screen quick as possible with PUSHs. Takes up loads of memory, but ya can't have everything...

    Blood and Guts by Quicksilver is a cruder version of their game Fantastic Voyage. While the main sprites are all in place the scenery graphics aren't as good and the map is not as developed.
