SPIN has a very good built-in assembler, or so I'm told. I've never actually used it. Crystal Computing's Zeus Assembler is also very good. I use it myself but only for small things as I'm far from being an experienced z80 coder. :)

You could use the built-in assembler on SPIN (which I'm told is excellent but I've yet to use it myself). Alternatively, download Zeus Assembler, which is a good solid assembler and easy to use too.
