Thanks for the detailed assessment . The sealed case aspect applies to the German/Chinese Zub (Model MJ-1250) so I removed this from its case. Pics to follow -

Re the Zub MJ-1250 Power Supply
Despite having 2 GND connects at the female socket there is only 1 GND on the PCB : this means the output lead itself doubles up the GND not the PCB itself -

If i remember Lightfarce was a 'hidden' game in Zub. You could load it by typing in a piece of BASIC before starting the tape.
I think it was written in an afternoon just as the programmers were finishing off Zub. -
