I'll confirm that too :) I have a bog standard rubber key Speccy power supply with the 128K+ I regularly use and it works a treat. -

Did the original 48K power supply not have a positive centre? The 128K is negative centre polarity. Obviously you've got it working, so there's no problems, but I thought they changed things around for the original 128K model. -

The power supply could be causing the computer ... . And it sounds like the power supply finally gave up hence the ... yourself at least a 400w power supply, I once had a 300w ... kept freezing randomly. Changed the power supply and everything was fine. -

You shouldnt have any problems making the video cable. For the power supply, you'll need a 9v @ 1A (or close to that) adapter.
