The number isn't decreasing - the number of UNIQUE games decreased. Database corrections are made almost on a daily basis and we still occasionally find duplicates (re-releases under a slightly different name, mostly). -

In a way, yes!
Probably take a while to do, but all the other database programs are way outdated now, or you need to do all the input manually, which is ok if you have 1 or 2 files, but if you've got thousands it would take ages.
