Rebelstar : Search for the I.O.N Gun

The Operatives have stolen the powerful I.O.N gun from the Raiders which could
spell certain doom in the wrong hands.

As Leeder Krenon it is your job to enter the Operatives Base and take back the
I.O.N gun safely to the Rebels. We have information from our spies that there
is a special secret passage, enter the base from here, go through the Storage
Room and the Trash Compactor room and along the way rescue any Rebel robots you
may find. You will come across Lava monsters, droids and other hazards but you
must succeed in your mission to find the I.O.N Gun !!!

Copyright and Thanks

The game is copyright of Paul Johns (psj3809), if you wish to host it (I mean
you Gamestage ! ;-) then at least please ask. My email address is
psj3809@hotmail.com for any comments or criticisms.

Julian Gollop being the great guy he is gave me permission to use the likeness
of his Rebelstar graphics in this game and was very positive about it when I
emailed him.

Thanks a ton also to Nathan who created the loading screen, added the menu tune
and made sure the game restarted and ended properly. Thanks Nathan you are a
star. Also thanks to 'Bluce Ree' who created the in game music. Finally thanks
to Cronosoft and Jonathan Cauldwell for a brilliant game, I love creating
remakes using this and it was a great buy from Cronosoft. Cant wait for version
0.2 ;-)

Keys

The Keys are the standard Jet Set Willy/Manic Miner style keys...

Q - Left
W - Right
Space - Jump

Obviously its in the style of Manic Miner, collect all the objects on each
screen to make the exit flash and then go to the next screen. I'm sure you can
work it out !

There are 15 screens and its quite a feat to complete it with those lives ! I
suggest you save your file after every screen ! I've completed it myself but I
admit it takes a few times to work out where the conveyor belts are, sometimes
I've been very sneaky with some screens

It was my first attempt using Platform Game Designer (from www.cronosoft.co.uk)
and created after just 2 days. I should perhaps try to map out each room before
creating it but I jumped in headfirst into it !

Version 1.0 Released 28th June 2005 just in time for the Micromart PGD
