MOCKATETRIS

THE GAME
Well, I won't believe that you don't know how to play tetris:)
This game plays just like any other tetris, just the blocks
shapes aren't classic, which means that you may need a different
strategy.

There are 9 levels in the game. To complete each level you need
to do 24 lines. After the level you are shown a mock screen of a
game (that's why the game is called Mockatetris) that never appeared
on Zx Spectrum, but appeared on other platforms. The mockups show how
these game could look like if they were ported to Zx Spectrum. I have
chosen the games which I like and I believe it could be possible to
do them on Zx Spectrum.

At the next level the blocks will fall down faster than previously.

When you complete a line, a part of the mockup screen will be revealed
in the empty space outside the playing area. To see the whole mockup
screen you'll need to complete all 24 lines however.

Before each level you can see the name of the game you are going
to see if you complete this level together with original producer
of the game and the year of release.

The name "Mockatetris" was also inspired by Paul Mockapetris, one of
the guys who created Internet :)

This game is freeware.

All the mockups were drawn by me. No graphics from original games
were directly ported to this game.
