The Story

=========

Nelo and quqo are two delinquents who sleep in disreputable

and unhygienic places. One day Nelo woke with an appalling

hangover without his inseparable buddy Quqo. When he tried

to leave the bar he realized he couldn't - the night before

he'd buggered up the telly to vex the boring old farts, and

El Pira, owner of the bar, wanted the damage to be put right

first. So Nelo went down to the cellar to find the tool

that could help him put the TV right.



El pira told him that quqo was intent on robbing the bank

which they had been planning the night before, and that he

ought to get up and "fetch summa' ta raise t' libido, it's

on t' floor 'n gives us gurt problems"



Once the telly was fixed, he went off to lend a hand to his

colleague. There was some vague memory about having been told

"a new bank, blah blah blah, t'other side o' t' city,

blahblahblah full o' brass blahblahblah dooant drink moor than

tha' can 'andle" (sound of pants being crapped) etc etc.



Clearly the problem is to free quqo while the streets swarm

with the ol' bill. We'll have to see how you fix and use

the things that you find laying about.



"Tha' daft bugger 'as gone off ta rob eur bank 'n needs ta

meek 'itself  horny? Horny? why? ta rob t' bank? Wha' kin' o'

bank 'as this daft bugger gotten 'imself into, ay?"





The Adventure

=============



During the game you can collect objects that you can

use or change depending on how the adventure is developing.

Where you have to do something with an object, or where

you can get an object, an icon will appear in the menu

at the top of the screen. Use the action key to use or

get objects. Use the select object key to cycle through

the objects you have in your inventory.



To avoid the enemies, use the Jump key.



The game happens in a map that's not too big, but can seem

like a bit of a maze. You'll find signposts where you

can move to other streets. Use the keys 'q' and 'a' to change

street when you're at a signpost - you'll see an icon appear

in the menu when you come across one. You'll also sometimes

see an icon for a ladder if you encounter one of those - you

can go up and down them.



To help you understand the use of the various objects, quqo

will give you a series of messages, some will be very useful,

others not so much



Controls:

Up - Q (Change street at a signpost)

Down - A (Change street at a signpost)

Left - O

Right - P

Jump - Space

Action - M

Select object - Z
